CNET Editors' Take

CNET did not review the Samsung LN52A630, but we did review a model in a different series with similar specs.

Review:

Although CNET did not review the 52-inch Samsung LN52A630, we did review the 52-inch Samsung LN52A650. Judging from their spec sheets the two Samsung flat-panel LCDs are basically identical but for the contrast ratio, screen coating and the exclusion of a fourth HDMI connection. The A650 has the company's "Ultra Clear Panel" screen coating, which we complained about in the review as being too reflective. The A630 has a more matte screen coating that doesn't reflect as much ambient light, and also causes the lower contrast ratio spec. Aside from these differences, we expect the review of the ... Pros: Picture quality
Picture quality
Picture quality

Summary: My TV is mounted on a wall, 90 degrees from and adjacent to a HUGE sliding glass door. The 630, with the matte screen, was a no-brainer for me. The picture is excellent, even during the bright daylight with the curtains wide open. No noticeable reflections at all. I have ... Expand full review

"Outstanding Set, Love owning this TV." By DonMateo1084

Pros: Picture Quality is unmatched in like TV's
AnyNet controller does a lot of work for me
3D like video makes you fell like you are apart of the action.

Cons: Haven't Really found any. Only three HDMI inputs, Not bad for me, I only have the HDTIVO and BluRay. Its Not super small if you wanted to hang it, it would probably stick out a good bit. I would say a good 7 inches or so

Summary: I absolutely Love this TV.
Everyone that has come to see it has been completely baffled. I love Showing it off, and letting it shine, playing 360 or watching a Blu-Ray Movie.
