Pros: Excellent picture for News and Documentaries

Cons: Horrible, foggy SD channel performance with no possibility of correction through tuning. 120HZ runs no matter what options you have turned off. All movies look like amaterur home movies because of artificial 120HZ frame rate.

Summary: Listed problems are not specific to Samsung or this model. Never again will I buy any idiotic HDTVs until manufacturers include proper "Movie" mode that would allow for movies to look "normal" and not like cheap sitcoms. Also SD channels never looked that bad. Considering that 50%+ of TV channles are still SD this TV is useless irritation. It is only suitable if you only watch HD programming and watch Blu-ray movies , because everything else will look like garbage.

You are so wrong in your review about this tv. This is by far one of the best pictures on any tv, I have ever seen. The hd channels are unbelievable and the sd is also well above average. Do not listen to this guy. He really is totally off the mark with his review. You have to be carefully with some of these reviews that are so negative for not reason. Just look at the other reviews that all share the same opinion about the tv and this one guy who is totally the opposite. He just does not know what he is looking at and has crappy televisions in the past. So, now when he sees a tv with such a great hd pictures he is thrown off somewhat.
