Pros: Wow! This plasma had to be the deal of the century. The colors are almost spot on right out of the box. After a little tweaking with HD Basics it really shines. 3 HDMI inputs, PC input, and cool touch panel controls make this 50" plasma a great buy!
Cons: Black level is good. Not as great as Panasonic's X1 but the Sammy looks sharper, brighter, and has better color reproduction. The screen glare and the glossy black bezel which attracts fingerprints is the only downfall.

"Beats my Sony 46" Z4100 lcd with 120 hz at 1/2 price."
Pros: Great value. Don't miss 1080p. Can't discern extra resolution. Glare not bothersome at all, in fact lends to depth, vibrancy of picture. Blacks are deeper on Panasonic plasmas, but this one perfectly acceptable once in home and not side by side.
Cons: Nagging possibility of burn - in, even though hasn't happened at all in the 1 month owned.

Pros: paid 879.00 at hhgregg for a 50" flat panel hd tv
plasma is supperior to lcd in all ways other than energy consumption. dont believe the hype

Pros: Price. Excellent Picture.
Cons: Weighs 70 lbs so consider that when buying a stand. Wall or tv stand bolts are non-standard and Samsung did not include them in the box. Extra trip to the hardware store to get them.

Pros: Beautiful picture. Amazing colors!! Sleek and elegant design.
Cons: Bought in April of 09, and three weeks later, the power supply died. TV was replaced by Samsung, who offred great customer service. New TV installed 05/18/09, and on 06/13/09 the power supply died again. Did they test this TV on the field?
