    Pros: Beautiful Color and Brightness
    Deep Inky Blacks
    Uniform brightness
    Very classy bezel design
    Amazingly Affordable
    Excellent Anti Reflective Screen

Cons: None that I can report.

Summary: I did a lot of research before I jumped on this television. I read about all the issues that many of the early purchasers of this set had. These included the screen peeling issue as well as brightness pops and buzzing from the panel. I waited until November to purchase as the complaints seemed to end with the June builds of this television.

I purchased the 64 inch version for $2050 on Amazon figuring that if there were any issues I would just return it at no cost to me. When it arrived I saw that it had an August build date (made in Mexico). I turned it on and experienced one of the most beautiful pictures I had ever seen. Not only were the colors spectacular, but the contrast was amazingly vivid and deep.

I am a professional lighting designer and color accuracy is extremely important in my profession. As much of my research consists of viewing BluRay concerts and films, the accuracy of the TV is of paramount importance.

I have been running the television for about four weeks. There is no evidence of peeling. If act, I find hat the television is emitting a very little amount of heat. This is something my wife and I discovered after auditioning the tv at Best Buy. They had a 59 inch PN7000 next to a 64 inch. There was a lot of heat emitting from the 59 inch,, but very little from the 64 inch. I have no idea if they addressed this in the larger models or later builds, but this may have been the issue with the screen peeling problem.

Just in case I ran the tv on a scrolling test pattern for 10 hours at full contrast and brightness to be sure that the screen would not peel . After ten hours the panel was still cool and no degration was apparent.

There is absolutely no buzzing coming from this television. It is virtually silent. I also found if you turn the contrast down to 95 or below you basically eliminate any brightness popping.

I highly recommend that you audition this television.
