"Just Amazing... strongly recommended.. best EDTV till now"
Pros: Cannot get a better TV in this price
Cons: Picture is less sharper than panasonic, but features.. no match
Summary: I was concidering Panasonic TH-42PD50U and this Samsung for my new Plasma TV(Same price). Although panasonic had a little sharper picture, but the disadvantage was that on non-HDTV signal that sharpness was showing big pixels on the edges of images which Samsung was not, plus smasung had extra features like 10000:1 contrast ratio, PIP, more brighness and many others... To me looks were important too... Panasonic new model looked like a old shape TV..
