Not "Internet-Ready"Summary: So, what do you get for your $800 Dollars in the Samsung UN40C6300? (well, you'll pay that much if you read about me)
Nestling inside the "Huge" box the UN40C6300 review model arrived in we found:
* The Television, (Not broken)
* A Stand
* Power Lead
* R/C
* Wi-fi Adapter (Nice)
* User Manual
* Warranty Card
* A set of Batteries
Setting up the Samsung UN40C6300;
This was an extremely easy job; the shipping carton is designed to lift over the lovely and slim LED Television, a great and risk free method of getting a very large object, the TV, into the world. (even 1 of me on my own can, and did do it)
The TV itself is extremely light for the size, 40 inches and only just over 30lbs, it is however still wise to locate in where it won't get bumped or knocked. The wall mounting is really the best, and only in our view, option.
Samsung UN40C6300 LED TV, a series 6, fits onto the included pedestal mount with the use of just a couple of screws. The stand adds some noticable weight to the set.
On the back you will find;
HDMI Inputs, 4 of these, located on the back, and the side.
USB Inputs, 2 - both on the back.
Component Video Input
PC Input (VGA D-Sub)
Optical Audio
Network Connection (RJ45)
Wi-Fi Port
Headphone Output
ANYNET Socket
More than anyone could need?
The TV automatically sets it self up after just a couple of deft keypresses in the intuative menu. It really is an easy setup wizard. The Samsung UN40C6300 does it all. In less than the time it takes you to make a cup of coffee in fact.
The picture quality is clean and uncluttered. There is absolutely zero motion judder and the colours are oh so "real" and fine.
The next thing we notice is how well the UN40C6300 manages to display darker images and scenes, the blacks are very; well, BLACK. No grey shades here.
LED back lighting technology has managed to remove one of the biggest issues that faced the previous, LCD sets and on the UN40C6300 is put to excellent use.
We see that the image clarity is perfect, or as close to perfect as we've seen in any LCD / LED set. Only bettered by the more expensive Pioneer Plasma TV's.
I just love the TV, and at $800 you CANNOT go wrong.
Hope you enjoyed my review.
