CNET did not review the Samsung UND6000 series, but we did review a similar series, the UND6400.
Although CNET did not review the Samsung UND6000 series, we did review the UND6400 series.
Comparing the two on Samsung's Web site, the main difference is that the UND6400 has 3D capability, and includes two pair of 3D glasses; the UND6300 does not.
One other difference on the Web site is the UND6400's contrast ratio spec of "5,000,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio," compared with no specification at all for the UND6000. Though this might be an indication of better black-level performance on the UND6400, we can't say for sure. Check out Specs to Ignore for more on contrast ratio specifications. The 6400 has a "Graphite" finish with a very slim bezel around the screen. The UND6000 has a thicker bezel and a "Stone Black" finish.
Both include Samsung's Smart TV Internet suite, and despite the indication on Samsung's Web site that the 6000 has built-in Wi-Fi, it does not; both require optional, proprietary Wi-Fi dongles to connect to the Internet wirelessly. We also suspect that, despite what the Web site says, both include VGA inputs for computers.
As far as we can tell there are no other major differences between the two series, and we expect their 2D picture quality to be very similar. For more information, check out our full review of the Samsung UND6400 series.
