"Great TV....and I Got It at a Steal!!!!" on by pconer0710

Pros: Picture Quality is Top Notch! Unit doesn't get hot at all and is extra efficient compared to other LCD sets. 4 HDMI is more than enough for me...Optical cable hookup is nice, along with ability to connect to the internet for direct firmare updates.

Cons: Nothing thus far. It's the future and I can survive with only the one hookup for component cables and use a switchbox if it ever came to it..which it won't. HDMI is the cable of the time. So...no Cons thus far.

Summary: Picture Quality is above excellent. I had to actually tone it down a bit for my eyes to adjust and realize that I couldn't reach through the screen to touch the characters on the otherside. I'm very happy happy with the energy efficiency and this TV really doesn't get warm one bit. Also, the longer life I can expect as compared to other LCDs (along with my extended warranty just in case of a freak happening) have made me very happy with my purchase.

"It lasted 2 years only! Don't buy it!" on by GolfFrank2010

Pros: Good picture for 2 years.

Cons: Broke after only 2 years

Summary: I got a double image on my screen and when I took it to the repair shop, I was told that the back panel had to be replaced and that the cost would be 1036 dollars! I paid $2000 for the TV so I decide to buy another TV (Sony). I never intend to buy a Samsung product again. I got an extended warranty on the new TV, just in case.

"The Best LED HDTV for your money !!!" on by HDTVLowestPrice

Pros: 1.Great Picture with deeply black dark and more colorful than LCD TV
2.Nice design with thin shape including crystal base and desing
3.Edge-Lit LED Technology helps in term of enegy saving

Cons: 1.Use the component part together with AV Port
2.The menu may display on the screen so it is hard for us to see the screen when we change the option.
3.The shadow reflection on the screen.

    Summary: Testing
I start with connecting the Dvico M6500 with HDMI to the Samsung UN55B6000 and open the content to test the black level and contrast level by Content HD of Pioneer. Samsung UN55B6000 can show deeply in black and more over can chase the gray scale very good. Next, with the Die Hard 4.0, the face of John McClane (Bruce Willis), skin color, beard, and the wrinkles on the face testing. I switch the figure styles which are Dynamic/Standard/Natural/Movie for comparing the difference between four of them. I most like the standard mode for movie, especially the movie that I selected the color tone to be warned. For the Dynamic is bright. When I try 007 Casino Royale 1080p, the become ok if compare with the general LCD TV without Edge-lit technology. I think the picture of LED TV is better. Finally, I test with Monster Inc, it?s good with the great colorful color.

Let change to blue-ray. First, use the blue-ray DVE for setting the picture in the smoothly picture and manual set again after put in the Batman The Dark Knight, which is the Blue-ray. This movie make from IMAX camera make full screen in 16:9 LCD TV with the nice view. I tried with Motion Plus 100Hz in Smooth option; it is very smooth even Batman or Joker. The result form turn on the Motion Plus is the great dimension, look like the Batman can come out from the screen. If you don?t like the Motion Plus, I recommend you to change to clear mode or standard mode.

However, setting the LED light at the corner can?t do the Local Dimming on/off LED light in group if compare with Direct LED Black light like the Samsung A950 & Sony X450. We can see more clear at the end of the movie (End credit) when there is a white word in the middle of screen, the LED light will on for all 4 direction which make the LED level light that will effect to the white word become gray. Therefore, the Edge Lit LED TV is not good at the content that dark for the background but white in the middle. But it is not very important for me because this case is happened less (I always ship the end credit)

    Option
55UNB6000 has many interesting options, such as, Picture in Picture that can change the size and position. There are meter to say how much power we used for displaying the picture, which related to the LED. The remote control has the on/off light function for using in the dark. This benefit for me because I always turn off the light when I watch the movies.

    Energy saving
If there are 5 stars, I give 6 stars for the energy saving!!! The HDTVLowestPrice.com Staff create the Power Consumption Meter, so I first sued with this 55UNB6000. I tested with SAT Box in standard mode; it used 110-130 watts (very save). When I tried with the energy saving mode it only 80 watts, OMG!!!

    To sum up
after using the Samsung LED TV 55UNB6000 for a week, I really impressive in picture and design of it, plus the energy saving too. This costs $1,9xx.

"Excellent TV. Its mounted and wires thru the wall." on by Jasonite

Pros: Great picture quality and looks fantastic wall art. All wires run thru the wall and makes for a clean look. I have a swivel mount which makes it easy to move the viewing angle almost 180 degrees. Easy to set up.

Cons: I did get stuck with the "store demo" on the screen. Took forever to get it off. Other than that, its worked to perfection.

Summary: Our viewing experience has changed dramatically. We went from an ugly TV stand with multiple components to a sleek wall mount with no wires or elements in sight.
Bottom-line. A great buy. Simple to set up (I did it) and easy to use. This is our second HDTV and is a perfect for our family room/kitchen area. While its not as large as our Man Cave projection TV (80"). It makes up for any size limits with the picture quality.
    I recommend this TV
