Pros picture when it works
Cons will not turn on after owning for one day. Customer service closed and live chat is down
Summary This tv was replacing a 40" Sony. Very dissapointed when the tv decided not to turn on on the second day of ownership. Tried to call Samsung customer service and they were closed. Who is closed at 8pm on a Monday night? When online to the live chat and that was down. It said to call the 800 number. What a waste of time buying this tv. I'm taking it back to the store and buying a Sony.
Pros I like the picture quality of 55 in. Samsun 6300. If you are not a fan of 3D imgae, you can't get better. I have hooked up with a Sony AV receiver via HDMI cable. It figured out the remote controls for all remote contorls.
Cons The base is attached with a one unstable round plastic structure attached with 5 small scress. If you want to use it on a TV stand, it is NOT stable It tilt nicely but very vulneralble if you are not careful. you may break it. should hand it on wall

Pros Great looking TV, looks as good as any new models. Great pricing on this model.
Cons No wifi (wired only). There is some loss of color when viewing from an angle but none visible sitting on my 12 foot long section couch.
Summary Very happy with this purchase. I am not a fan of the 3D systems. LEDTVs make all the difference. If I could afford it I would buy another one.
Pros Sharp, beautiful picture. Lots of custom picture settings.
Cons Picture quality is best can be. Sharp, colorful, deep blacks. Only thing is it's just not film like. It's like watching home movies from a HD camcorder, not a Holloywood film. You feel an obvious disconnect from the movie you're watching.
Summary Also, the optical audio output on the TV does NOT support 5:1 dolby digital. Only 2:1. You will have to rely on the output sources of your devices.
Pros Beautiful picture quality. Very thin screen.
Cons Looks great until you get it into a dark or dimmly lit room. Just like another reviewer noted. There is a white light leakage from the corners. Kind of high price to pay and suffer picture quality issues like that.
Summary If I had read these reviews before I bought the thing on sale, like I normally do, I would not have bought it. As it stands, I have it hung on the wall in my master bedroom. Off angle issues are a non issue for me in this configuration. I'll just have to make sure I watch it with the lights on or learn to deal with white lights shining in from all the corners. My advice, take a pass on this model for now. LED LCD will get better in time. I like the guy's advice about making the store show you a dark scene in a dark room. Good advice for the future. It would be nice to see CNET Editors weigh in on this product line and help us novices out a little in advance.
