Pros The image quality is the best I've seen in a TV this size.
The motion control works well for 120 Hz (not so ultra-smooth that it looks unrealistic).
Easily seen picture even in a bright (within reason) room.
More image controls than I can count.
Cons Sound is a bit lacking on the bass side.
The stand seems to be a bit flimsy.
Missing autoselect source feature (if it has it, I don't know about it)
Could use more inputs (but you know about that before you buy).
Summary I caught this on a Labor Day Sale. 55" version for $899.
It was a steal.
The image quality is fantastic, even in bright rooms.
If you are one that likes to fiddle and fine tune your image settings, this TV has more adjustable settings than you can count.
The motion control is smooth without being nauseating.
Black levels are what you'd expect from an LED TV (great), although they can distort a bit when you have direct light on the TV.
Not a smart TV or 3D, but you don't expect that at this price point (buy a smart Blu-Ray player for $100).
Stand seems to be in need of a bit more structure, so I would recommend wall-mounting this thing (which is what I did, after having it on the stand for a week).
It could use more inputs, but that's something you know going into this. It could also use an autoswitch source feature, but sadly it does not (that I know of).
Pros Sharp overall images,
Cons the viewing angle is poor
Summary This TV set is exacly what i want. And a special thank to Danny Sullivan who help me to remove this stupid soap opera effect, and by the way if you dont need any of what they call SMART TV, like wifi or go on internet or 3D that's the smartest choice. The pro is you pay the right price for a very good set.after i have done the setting from your table set up, my tv set is looking great even the viewing angle so for me there no more con. And it's should be 5 stars
