Pros: The television actually worked well, it wasn't until I had problems with speakers. Sanyo actually responded quickly by communicating it was a warranty repair and set up the appointment for repair immediately.
Cons: After the appointment was made, then the repair ticket went into a black hole. As of this writing it has been 4 weeks and counting with absolutely nobody within Sanyo knowing when and if speakers will actually ship.
Summary: After making repeated calls to inquire the status speakers shipping to the repair shop, I have learned much about Sanyo's system when there is no answer.
Representatives are given no authority other than repeating any updates on from the file and send requests up to corporate, nothing else.
After a request, or work order, was sent to corporate, I was told I would receive a response in 24 to 72 hours. This did not occur.
After this time frame expired, another request was sent to corporate marked Priority. I am still awaiting are response.
In summary, even though the product may be good, the warranty system simply is non-existent when it comes to a sense of urgency for customers. I have given up on even receiving a response and will not look to process getting a refund. Can't wait to see what this system holds in store.
