"Great Value, USE HDMI adapter cord for best pc picture"
Pros: Great value. Upscales well to some pretty high resolutions.. ps3 picks it up as 1080i / 720p. Multiple hdmi sockets, multiple ypbr connections, multiple rca connections, multiple svhs sockets & VGA port if you have to use it..I rec'd HDMI for pc use.
Cons: Cheesy remote. Bad LED in front of unit: goes BRIGHT / DIM or goes from RED to OFF instead of the normal BLUE. If you put ANYTHING in front of the tv, even slightly covering the general area of the power light, it won't 'see' the remote signal. MEH!
Summary: Get it. Product of Los Angeles CA distributor/OEM. If it needs fixed, they can fix it.. Regular business hours.. Great value for the money. Invest in a HDMI => DVI cord, to connect your ps3 or pc video card (with DVI plug..). I found that this cord was able to offer alot better picture from the pc, as compared to the vga cord. PS3 games look awesome. Speakers are ok, not great. Menu interface is also ok. Can't complain, it works fine for low price. Gets warm, due to the large screen size, and relatively inefficient design of all these type of displays. I get 1800x1016 resolution on this bad boy. In windows it shimmers too much to use it like this, dot-pitch seems a little too large, or something - but it's AWESOME for games & movies..HD included. Paid 400 + 50 regular freight.
