CNET Editors' Take

CNET did not review the Sharp LC-37D43U, but we did review a smaller model in the series.

Review: Although CNET did not review the 37-inch Sharp LC-37D43U, we did review the 32-inch Sharp LC-32D43U. The two TVs are essentially identical but for screen size, so we expect the picture quality of the 32-inch model to provide a good indication of how the 37-incher will perform. For more information, refer to the full review of the Sharp LC-32D43U. For additional details on Sharp's lineup of LCD-based HDTVs, see our roundup.

"Everything I expected and more!" By RicardoA05

Pros Generous inputs, highly customizable picture, sleek look.

Cons Not 1080p, glossy look shows dust.

Summary After the LC37D90U model was discontinued, I was concerned that the newer models I could afford, the ones that are not 1080p, would not measure up in terms of picture quality and inputs. I was delightfully dissappointed. I got to see the smaller 32-inch model perform beautifully in a store ... Expand full review
