CNET Editors' Take
CNET did not review the Sharp LC-37D44U, but we did review a smaller model in the series.
Although CNET did not review the 37-inch Sharp LC-37D44U, we did review the 32-inch Sharp LC-32D44U. Judging from their spec sheets, the Sharp LCD HDTVs are Identical except for screen size. We expect the picture quality of the 32-inch model to provide a good indication of how the 37-inch model will perform. For more information, refer to the full review of the Sharp LC-32D44U.

"been a great tv and monitor for over 3 years so far" By 3151jeff
Pros: great picture and sound and doubles as a large computer monitor.
Never had a problem and it runs 24/7
Cons: none to date
Summary: would buy another Sharp LCD for sure as I have been impressed with this one
"My remote stopped being responsive!!" By Xdaphur
Pros: Up until now I really enjoyed my TV. Great picture for gaming, very little motion blur and the stock speakers sounds really nice too. I've had it for almost two years.
Cons: Well like I just said my TV stopped being responsive to my remote just like what smeissne was complaining about.
Summary: I take very good care of everything I own and I've always owned a Sharp television. But something like the TV not recognizing the remote is just ridiculous. Now I have to call them and complain
