"Great TV for 799....adding the 70 bundle pack for HDMI cable and Wall mount"
Pros: The TV is easy to work with and with the HSMI inputs makes great for an upscaling DVD and a XBox 360. There is the great advantage of the OPC control that helps in chaging light ambients.
Cons: Would of liked that they had added a better firmware in their remote to work with more products. Also a better color control than the predetermined settings for Color Temp.
Summary: The TV is great for the price I got at Circuit City (799.99) with the bundle for the HDMI cable and wall mount (70 bucks more). The controls for display and the way it shows my computer (I now use it as a Computer monitor as well) are great.
I wish they added more components to control with the remote and if you have an upscaling DVD (Philips is ok to use it with) then you can play a good dvx movie on it.
If you have a computer connected to it it will be a great new monitor, also try to have a wireles mouse and keybord to use it with. The advantage is that you can add labels to the different inputs of the TV and helps when you have different sources connected to it.
Like the fact that the TV has a great black level and that if you go into the tips and tricks section of CNET you can get a pretty good "tutorial" on how to make it display better.
One last thing, the TV can handle different settings for the different inputs and this helps if the picture quality from one source is different than the other one.
