"Best 1080p Bang For Your Buck!!!"
Pros: Excellent picture quality, Great Upscale, Tons of Connection Options, and all at an Amazing Price
Cons: None from me
Summary: The picture is amazing, and that's the most important factor when buying a tv, right? There is no difference in resolution or contrast to the more expensive Samsung and Sony models. I have no problems with the brightness or with watching dark scenes, which seemed to be a problem with last years model. The picture quality when watching HD dvds and HD digital cable in 1080p is absolutely amazing. It almost makes me cry, I'm so happy.
Another great feature is the connection options. 3 HDMI inputs and 2 component inputs means every HD peripheral will have a dedicated input. The upgrade over last year, aside from the extra HDMI input, is the VGA input. This comes in very handy for Xbox 360 owners, since the VGA input is superior to component. Console and pc gamers, this is the tv for you.
The tv automatically adjusts to whatever resolution the source is sending the tv, so you don't have to manually change it if you're signal is 1080p, 1080i, or 720p. The new casing is gorgeous. One thing I always thought was lacking with the Sharp Aquos line was the shell, but the new streamlined look makes you want to display this tv as the centerpiece of any room.
I could go on and on about how great this tv is... superb viewing angles, light weight and super thin. I'm sure I should have something negative to say, but I don't. The only thing lacking with this tv are the speakers. But if you're watching a 42in 1080p HD LCD TV, go out and get a surround sound system to go with it.
