The Bottom Line The Sharp LC-46D85U's picture quality issues will give many potential buyers pause, but its dejudder-free 120Hz refresh rate might find some fans. Although it delivers the deepest color of black we've seen yet, a couple of picture quality problems keep the Sharp LC46D62U from being a top, high-end LCD choice. It costs a mint, but Samsung's local dimming, LED-based UNB8500 series delivers the best picture quality of any LCD we've tested. Despite a shiny, reflective screen, the picture quality of the Samsung LN-T4665F makes it a top choice overall.
