Summary: we checked out a few lcd's, and this one stood out by far as the best picture in the big box store.
bought my first one on dec 31, 2007 and took it home... immediately saw a thin black line running horizontally and took it back asap on jan 2, 2008.
it's now jan 4, 2008 and my 2nd set has a blue band that comes and goes on the far left side of the screen which only appeared on day 2.
i really want to give this set a higher number, and will maybe amend my review if set #3 works ok. if it doesn't, i'm going with a panasonic. -

Cons: Had the TV for 2 weeks and can't find anything bad about it. Love it
Summary: I have had the TV for 2 weeks. Watching Blu Rays on this TV is amazing, the picture is exremely clear and full of details. No banding issues at all, no faults. I can't find anything negative about this TV. The price for the TV is well worth it. The stand it comes with is very strong and steady, I haven't mounted it to the wall yet but I know it will look like a picture frame do to how thin this unit is. Two thumbs up for Sharp on this TV.

Summary: I bought this LCD on Black Friday after Thanksgiving at a bargin price. I have mounted this on my wall, integrated this into my home theater system and have loved it for the past 3 months.
Great picture
It only weighs about 30 lbs which made it easy for my son and I to mount.
My only concern is the angle at which all of the cables plug into the back of the set. With the wall mounting the cables are bent at tight angles, which may cause the cables or the connectors in the display to fail prematurely. We shall see. -

Summary: I'm not a profesional HDTVer so I don't sweat the small stuff. I think the picture is great and looks, no pun intended sharp on my entertainment area. I have it matched with a sharp blu-ray player and it's a match made in heaven. It is chrisp and solid. If yuo take the time to read the manual, it is very easy to go through the menus, and with the aquos link hdtv watching is a breeze. Love the TV
