CNET Editors' Take

CNET did not review the Sharp AQUOS LC-52D85U, but we did review a smaller model in the same series.

Review:

Although CNET did not review the 52-inch Sharp AQUOS LC-52D85U, we did review the 46-inch Sharp Aquos LC-46D85U. Judging from their spec sheets, the two Sharp flat-panel LCDs are identical but for screen size, so we expect the picture quality of the 46-inch model to provide a good indication of how the 52-incher will perform. For more information, check out the full review of the Sharp Aquos LC-46D85U.

"Get a deal!" By JMac81

Pros $$/Inch, Features (5hdmi, optical audio out, cable management), Phenomenal picture quality, and active display features.

Cons Um....speakers, but if you buy a tv this size I pray that you would have accounted for a bigger sound system as well. No tv in this range will have adequate speakers. There are good, but I'm paying premium for picture not sound..

Summary Bottom Line: If you can get a deal on this tv such as myself, you'd be insane not to buy it. I purchased a 26" Aquos about 5 yrs ago and it is still beautiful. Not to mention you get a 3 month VIP addition to your warranty which ... Expand full review
