Pros 70". Vibrant colors from this LED
Cons Motion. Any type of motion looks tacky on this bad boy. Watching an action movie looks like it was filmed with $70 camcorder. Perhaps its the 120 Hz refresh rate. Or perhaps their motion technology algorithms are off.
Summary Hold onto your money. Perhaps wiser to invest in their yet to come models which will undoubtedly include newer tech
Pros big - pretty picture - features can be cool if utilized
Cons very little screen life - poor quality TV
Summary Bought the first TV of this model in April of 2012. In May of 2012, the TV screen was having issues. When we called Sharp, they had one of their techs come out, they verified the issue, said they would give us a NEW one. They delivered a REFURBISHED. They stated the 1yr warranty would apply to the "new" replacement from the date of delivery (which was in May 2012). In May of 2013, we started having screen issues again to the point where the TV won't turn on. Tech came out, said the TV is shot. And Sharp said we were misinformed on the warranty.
Two TV's in 12 months, same model, both screens go bad. Sharp is disrespectful, liars, and their TV are junk. Never again will I buy another TV from their brand.
Pros Is to set up. Alot of video adjs
Cons non HD channels blury No adj for picture vertical or horizonal so I get white lines at the top of screen.. support said change viewing mode to stretch. And dot to dot is a better picture
Pros Love the picture quality, even though it is in one of the darkest rooms in our home. Love the size, resolution, colors, ease of set up, use, and Wi fi applications. Sound is good because it is in a low noise room.
Cons Broke less than 6 mths of purchase, hard to find company in my area who can fix it through the warranty, the large picture took a little getting used to for me.
Summary We bought the 70" Sharp Aquos but unfortunetly, it broke 2 weeks ago and it sounds like a major component went out because there is no light coming from the back panel at all and only a blinking arrow (on/off indicator) on the front bottom of TV. The other unfortunate part is that becasue it is so big, the repair man has to come to my home to fix it and there is only one company in my area that can do it, so I will have to wait at least another week to get scheduled and we may be out a month with no TV! Other than this misfortune and the waiting to get it repaired under warranty- when the TV is working we love it.
Pros BIG, Bright picture with matte finish (watch in bright room, no reflection), Sharp (picture), Great Colors, Built in WI-Fi, Built in NetFlix
Cons No 3D (this is not a con to me, but others may disagree)
Summary Great balance between price, size and features. We've had ours a couple of months, and we love it more and more...
