"This TV is Really Sharp" on by RakkmUp

Pros: Design, Image, Price, Analog and Digital Viewing in one input

Cons: Remote too big, too long to change channels, no browse function

Summary: I purchased the LC-C3242U at a Costco for 649.99 and at that price it is a great value. I am guessing that the LCC3242U is the Costco version of the LC 32D42U. Beautiful image but it takes too long to change channels. The Vizio had a great feature where you can browse other channel numbers while watching the current channel. This Sharp does not have that functionality. Much nicer design and sound than the Vizio L32 that I returned because it died. Not so sure that I would pay the regular price of 799.99 but for 649.99 it is a great buy.

"Excellent tv for what i paid for it." on by videoluvr

Pros: Price was 650.00 at costco with coupon and that is a great price for this set.Wonderful picture in hd and just fine in standard.

    Cons: Havent found one.

Summary: I saw the ad on the costco weekly sale and it was on sale online but we didnt want to wait so we went to costco and we needed a card seeing as ours expired. We got the new cards and a coupon book and inside was the coupon for the set.Wow i thought i hit the jackpot.I wanted a sharp all along and just didnt want to pay the higher price so i feel it was meant to be.I love the set very much and couldnt be happier.Picture is awesome in hd 1080 from directv.Even regular 480i is pretty darn good.I highly recommend the set to anyone and if you can get the coupon you should be a happy camper.Im using the hdmi input for the satelite and the other hdmi for an Oppo upconvert dvd player. They are excellent players and i suggest anyone to get one. They are just great""

"Excellent LCD tv except...." on by pnkrkcnet

    Pros: Great contrast and price!!!

Cons: Only gripe is 2 dead pixels already

Summary: I bought this t.v. at Costco, just like everyone else, BluRay movies are great on this T.V., pictures were crisp and well "sharp." Only gripe is that it has 2 dead pixels right smack on the middle of the screen. Did'nt notice it until I pluged in my computer on its VGA input and right away I noticed a 2 bright red dots! Beware...Costco does not take in exchanges, only returns, so if you try to return it and think you can buy the t.v. with the same price you purchased it ($650), your out of luck. Hope that sharp will be able to fix it...btw, does anyone know their dead pixel policy?

"Good Value, Good Price!" on by rickturner2

Pros: Light Weight, Inexpensive, Sleek Look and Fantastic Picture Quality

    Cons: Can't Think of Any!

Summary: I got mine at Costco for $649 with a coupon. Hard to go wrong for that price. I also have a 27" Akai, but the Sharp has richer color content. I would definitely recommend this model to others.

"Love this TV set!" on by CNETOL99

Pros: Excellent picture for 720p, attractive design for LCD-TV of this size, good audio, self-adjusting brightness, value for price

Cons: Remote controll is awkwardly designed (too long), manual is confusing

Summary: I wanted to give a 10 rating, but the remote control is not well-designed & lacks some good feature like browsing of channels. Also, the manual is not clearly written. Other than these, the TV itself is a wonderful product. Its picture quality is excellent for this range of 720p TV: no glare, black details are SHARP, and the tuners are strong to pick up a lot of HD & anolog signals even with just an over-the-air table antenna hook-up. The audio is so much better than that of an economical brand like Vizio which I returned.

Overall, I love this TV. I got it at Costco when it was "on sale" ($150 off coupon) last week & and happy for my decision to buy it. For $649.99, it was the best value that you can get for such a good quality brand-name product. I'd buy another one for my bedroom if it is on sale again!
