"1080p in a 32in. is smooth as silk" on by mfroom
Pros: Plenty of connection possibilties, nice finish
Cons: Still looking for something...
Summary: Some may say that 1080p in a 32" screen is overkill, but if you're going to buy into this format you've got to have it and this size fit us. The HD pictures are truly impressive, the connections options are plenty, at least for now, and the unit has performed flawlessly so far. No, it won't be on the pricy end considering most 32s are only 720p right now. Good sound quality from its own speakers too. Speakers below the screen make the unit more compatible within our space, and the new piano black finish seems nice, gives it a kind of special feel in the room. Swoop design warms up the feel too. Overall, Great.

"Best 32'' hdtv to invest in" on by skimanb2333
Pros: This TV performs extremely well in all categories. When I play my 360 w/ the component cables, it looks fantastic. When I play my PS3 w/ HDMI it looks amazing (especially blu-ray movies).
Cons: If you are a someone who needs a way to connect your PC, stay away from this.
Summary: This TV absolutely rocks. I gave it a rating of a 9 b/c its a perfect TV for me but may not be perfect for everyone. I was looking into a Sony for a long time but then they all seemed to keep having one problem or another (or they were just too expensive). I only am aware of one other 1080p tv on the market thats 32'' and its not that great. This TV new for 2007 is a great bedroom/gaming tv. In a larger room you may want a larger size of this model. The blacks are fantastic so theres no need to worry about that. The TV many different video modes like movie, game, ect. I personally like movie for just about everything except gaming b/c its a little bit too dark for my gaming. I just turn the brightness up for gaming so I can see everything in games like GOW and R6:Vegas. The 6ms refresh rate provides a "lag-free" picture(especially in games). This TV is expensive but think of it as an investment because 1080p is going to be around for a while, 720p is old news (at least for movies).
Oh yeah, for first time buyers, when you go to stores like Circuit City, they dont always have all the TV's hooked up to their fullest potiental. Depending on what they try to sell some may look better than others. This TV looks better at my house than it did in the store. I'd highly reccomend digital cable if you plan to watch a lot of TV shows/movies(not just for this tv but any HDTV). -
"Aquos Keeps Getting Better" on by hifees
Pros: The picture quality, input selection, calibration options, and style are top notch.
Cons: None-At this time...
Summary: I have a 26" Sharp Aquos which I have had for a year or so. This is a very good LCD tv but does not process fast action well outside of HD, besides that I am a fan of Sharp tv's. I looked around at other 32" LCD HDTV's and they were in the same price range as the Aquos 32" but had lower Contrast Ratios, Lower Resolution and their processors couldn't touch the Sharp's 6ms. The NEW and improved Aquos is much better at handling fast motion. Most LCD's have difficulty handling black and tend to become pixilated displaying shades of black-The NEW Sharp Aquos is crisp and dark. Well worth the money.

"Clean Picture with a nice shell audio is okay" on by ANEWMadrid
Pros: Vivid Images reproduced, lots of tweaks available, back lit remote control
Cons: no stable audio, surround doesn't really do anything
Summary: I wanted an LCD for the bedroom and a couple of friends said 1080p is the way to go, so I chose this Sharp model. Let me say the images are infact super clean. SDTV is pretty good as well. My only gripe is the audio isn't the best, I mean at normal listening level its fine but turn it down for night listening and you have to constantly turn it up and down. Would be good to have a stable sound option such as my Toshiba DLP has.

"Service for the birds" on by Scoop17
Pros: Good picture
Cons: Colors goes on fritz after six months
Summary: Buy this TV, see the color go on the fritz after 6 months, and then sit back and watch as Sharp refuses to take calls on weekends to arrange service -- only during working hours. Can you say sham?
