"Good while it lasted."
Pros: Great picture, ok sound, lots of HDMI connections, nice handling of 4:3 formats.
Cons: Sound was a little weak out of the builtin speakers. But the biggest beef I have is its' reliability. It died after 2.5 years, conveniently out of warranty (2 yrs. since I purchased it at Costco).
Summary: And, it died 1 day after I finally got a blu-ray player. At least I got to see StarTrek in 720p (and it was great!). I had a CRT TV for nearly 20 years (and still working fine) before I purchased this LCD TV. I was very happy with it until it stopped working. Is this all we have to look forward to? Buying new TVs every 2-3 years because they won't build them with decent electronics?
