"Awesome TV so far"
Pros: Great picture, even from an angle
Cons: Can't switch inputs without remote
Summary: We chose Aquos because CNet said they have wide viewing angles, and we?ve found this to be the case. I can watch TV from the kitchen while doing the dishes (she cooks, I clean) and there?s only a slight, barely-perceptible lightness to the black parts of the picture, not enough to matter. From head on, of course, the picture is fantastic.
Another small bonus: being able to turn the screen off and listen to XM through our satellite provider through the speakers.
The only gripe I have so far is that everything must be done with the remote, including switching from satellite to DVD, etc. That would be fine if our DirecTV remote would do that, but it only seems capable of volume and menu controls. To switch to DVD, we have to use the Sharp remote . . . a pain.
