"Banding Issues!"
Pros: Great picture most of the time
Cons: Banding, Banding, Banding
Summary: The LC-46D92U would have been a 10 in my opinion if it was not for the horizontal and vertical lines (banding) that are visible in certain scenes. Pic was awesome 90% of the time but the other 10% had banding.
I talked to Sharps customer service line several times and also 2 reps that happended to be in BB where I bought it. All of them feigned ignorance of the banding issue.
I tried 2 different units until I decided to get a refund.
If Sharp corrects this problem in future sets and I haven't bought another brand already then I will consider trying the D92 again. That is how much I liked this model minus the banding.
