Pros Good picture
Cons Lot of hidden costs and problems
Summary The TV works fine but the additional costs will kill you.
1.You will need to get it calibrated ( do not relocate it to another residence or you get to do it again).
2. If you expect to connect to the internet you need to either connect it directly to your router with a wire, OR if you wish to connect it wireless then you WILL NEED TO PURCHASE a Sony USB wireless connect for it at about an additional $90.00.
3. You will more than likely have to update the firmware/software because the auto update may not work properly until you do. You can download this for free, BUT you will need to again purchase a Sony USB flash drive because not all flash drives will work with it at an additional cost.
4. If you get a <5006 > error code don't wast your time trying to figure it out on your own. It is a Sony DB issue that they will have to fix. The level 1 support has no clue what it is and you will have to navigate threw all the not knowing anything levels to get to the level that does know so be prepared to spend some time. They will have to end up moving your TV's serial number and MAC address to another group and back to fix it and this is way beyond level 1 support.
There is a lot of hidden costs to this unit to keep in mind. The picture is good and the set up can get complicated if you are not electronically-mechanically inclined. Be aware of the error codes and quality of support when you need it. I would suggest adding up all the hidden costs including time to fix potential issues, schedules for calibration Ect, and check on any peripherals you might think should/do come with it first before purchasing not only with Sony but with all manufacturers.
Pros Brand image and picture color
Cons TV quality in general is bad with terrible customer service
Summary I have recently bought SONY TV LED EX700 model from Delhi and am totally disappointed. The internet connectivity stopped working only 2 months after purchase.
And the customer care is even pathetic. They will fix up a time and not turn up. After fixing up 2-3 times times when they turn up , they come and check the TV and say there is a fault they have to fix. This same cycle has repeated twice.
But the actual problem is still not fixed after following up for 2 months.
I have always been buying SONY TV since I can remember but now they are not those robust TVs they once used to be . And the customer service is pathetic.
Pros Stylish product
Cons Hopeless, inefficient, worst, arrogant, mannerless and worst of the worst customer servicess...
Summary We have been deliverd the Bravia TV (KDL-32EX700) on 20.Sept.2010 in India. As it has been told that for the installation, we need to contact the toll free number toll free number as provided, we had contacted and the customer personnel told that the person will come for the installation within 48 hours. But it is almost nearing 48DAYS, nobody turned up and the TV is still sleeping in the delivered package. We are afraid to open as we are not sure whether the product is in proper working condition. It is assured only when the customer care personnel come and install.
We are calling customer care personnel on daily basis and cusotmer care personnel are giving false commitmments on daily basis. with arrogant manner. I am surprised a world class comapny likre this can afford such a bad services?the company CSR says it respects and delviers the good services but in India, it is totally different and i suspect the company thinks iIndia is a third world country and anything can be done to its customers...but the company should note that Indian is a huge market for them and also they get their daily bread because of its cusotmer...
But I am really distressed with this comapny and telling all my friends not to buy sony products any more...

Pros Image Quality in HD is great.
Cons Netflix can get slower more often than usual and the video will pause as a result, it may be a download speed issue. The image quality with my regular cable box is mediocre.
Summary One thing I wanted to point out is the Cnet review mentions the Netflix image being poorer than other streaming video. I saw that only when the signal quality dropped hence reducing the video quality. When the image was in HD it was fantastic.
