"If I had known then what I know now....."
Pros: Good pic, HDMI input impresses me more than I thought
Cons: aspect ratio is dumb
Summary: This TV is great for the HD user. Being in the entry level category, I opted to save a couple hundred dollars over the other model I had researched. The picture is decent for my lack of digital cable. Upconverts my newer DVDs way better than I had expected from the HDMI Imput. Then I ran an older DVD and discovered that you can't change the aspect ratio. Why they left out THAT option, I can't fathom. Now I have to pack it up and spend the money I tried to save. Lesson learned - listen to your research, not the kid in the store.
