"Fantastic product for well-lit rooms"
Pros: Stunning viewing angle, awesome black point, Ambient light sensor for screen brightness, side input port (contrary to c|net description)
Cons: No DVI Port, no universal remote
Summary: Easily one of my best electronic purchases. Upscales Video from my DVD player very well, as well as making the 480p output of the Nintendo Wii look very respectable. Image clarity in true HD is amazing with a stellar black point. The ambient light sensor was a nice surprise, dimming the brightness of the screen when the room's ambient light lowers. The back has Two (2) HDMI ports, Two Component ports and Three A/V ports (two rear, one side) though, unfortunately, there is no DVI. This set surpassed any limitations I had about LCD sets. If you see this dip below $999.99, don't hesitate.
