"Bought it for the name. Returned it a week later."
Pros: On HD less pixelation during heavy actions and tv graphics i.e. cnn and espn.
Cons: Heavy black . Standard def is horrid with a lot of pixelation. Not a lot of picture modes/adjustments. No USB connector. 3 HDMI ports. PS3 games had heavy blacks, graphics not as clean. Watching HD was not as clear as the Magnavox 42" I traded for.
Summary: I traded in a Maganvox 42" for the 40" Sony Bravia because the Mag had pixelation issues during heavy action. While the Sony was better in that area the picture was very dark and not as clear as the Mag which costs a lot less. The big reason for the return is how the Magnavox looked better than the Bravia when playing PS3 games which was suprising. I'm returning the Sony for the Phillips 42" which has the same picture quality has the Mag but has a chip that reduces pixelation.
