"Great HDTV while some SD shows color overexposure"
Pros: 1. It displays HDTV programming well--sharp with good color.
2. Above average sound performance from TV speakers.
3. You can regulate the volume directly from the TV when external speakers are being used. In other words, no extra remote to grab.Cons: The factory picture settings causes some of the color in standard TV programming to be overly bright/exposed. A minor adjustment of the picture controls is needed.
Summary: Overall, this Sony model is a bargain for its performance. I wish I could have had a professional tweak the picture controls [for free], so that standard TV programming wouldn't be so bright.
Then again, I had to go through two defective models from questionable brands (Dynex and Insignia) before I decided on this Sony.
