  • "Sony LCD TV don't last"
    on by Gary_sports

    Pros good exterior look

Cons dead pixel & squares in 22 months

Summary Don't buy Sony LCD unless you plan to buy a new TV within 2 years, mine started showing up dead pixels at first, (20 months after purchase) and many squares start showing up, discoloration, and Sony would not help for a inspection at all.

  • "Great t.v. if you don't mind having to buy another one."
    on by netfoxx

Pros Picture was great until the manufacturer's warranty ran out.

Cons One day i turned it on and NOTHING. Remote won't even work anymore. Can not see anything but the black screen and I have no idea what happened. Called Sony to try and find out and all they said was the warranty was up.

Summary Now i have a t.v that won't work and all i got for it is a 10% off coupon to buy a new one from Sony. I will never buy a Sony again! This thing will not even turn off without being unplugged and none of the buttons on the side of the t.v. will work. I feel like i paid all this money to have a blank screen on my wall!

  • "best LCD ever!!"
    on by teeemack

    Pros picture! picture! picture!

Cons no internet, the lack of broadcast in 1080p....maybe one day this will happen

Summary I bought this TV back in February of 2010 and I can only say it along direct tv seems to be getting better with age! Blu Ray is darn near perfect in 1080p. Weird thing is, this tv seems absorb reflections so you can watch in bright room with no problems. Motion seems to have this live effect camcorder effect, you have to adjust it. II can only find 2 faults with the tv and that is black could be darker but that is what you get with LCDs and there is no internet, which really isn't a problem, you can always hook your pc to it.

  • "Very good value, excellent picture, & smart technology"
    on by egr4wig

Pros The picture couldn't be better! I appreciate the automatic recognition of new video inputs (switching from Blu-Ray, PC, & Cable box). The number of different inputs more than suites my needs and actually pulls less power than my (older) Sony receiver

Cons The sound is poor. Sony should have this down (since they created the Walkman, the CD, Blu-Ray technology, and are still producing decent receivers). For those who don't mount this on a wall, the swivel could be better.

Summary Ultimately, you will get a good product for a great price. A HD, 120hz Sony Tv that produces very deep colors (specifically black) is a great value for those of you (like myself) who have bought/will buy your first HD TV.

I've had it for about a month now and so far no complaints in regards to the picture quality.

  • "LOVE IT COMPARED TO PREVIOUS SONY"
    on by kjbord

Pros Great Picture Quality, Watching movies in the 120hz true motion is like watching the movie all over again.

Cons None that I can say at this time.
