"An incredible TV set"
Pros: features, picture quality, connectivity, audio, Sony reliability
Cons: price (though I suspect prices will come down quickly)
Summary: I have recently bought the Sony KDL-46W3000 after reviewing several candidates throughly in terms of features, picture quality, and connectivity. I considered the Sharp Aquos, Pioneer, Panasonic, and many others. After much research both on line and at the stores, I was left oevr with 3 real choices - the Sony KDL-463000, the Sharp LC-46D92U, and the Sony KDL-46XBR4. I absolutely LOVE my TV and love the connections I made to a Blu-Ray DVD player (I opted for the basic BDP-S300) and the Bose-321 GS sound system. The only slight disappointment is that the Bose does not connect to my DVD player or TV via an HDMI connection. But OTHER than that, this system I put together has been everything I wanted and MUCH MUCH more. The pinnacle of the system, however, is the TV. This set features an unbelievable picture. I already had the Sony KDF50 grand WEGA set which is actually PLENTY good, but I must admit that the 46W3000 literally runs circles around the WEGA model. HIGHLY recommended TV!!
