"Not bad, but for the money, could do better"
Pros: Numerous interfaces, great views off-angle, video games and DVDs look amazing, same ol' reliable sony remote, super-extensive menu options
Cons: weird pings and static noises from the rear of the unit
Summary: For 3 grand, you can do better. I still see ghosting issues, and I think that's just what you expect with an LCD screen. This set has this 120hz refresh option you can turn on, but it makes everything look completely fake - everyone and everything looks like CGI or that it's up against a blue screen. It looks pretty turned off, and video games and DVDs look amazing. But my set makes these annoying static pings all the time - it's pretty annoying. What can you do? It's under a big warranty from Tweeter - but I doubt it can be fixed. Who knows. For 3 grand I expect perfection, not a half-decent set that makes weird noises.

Given the substance of bubba2million's review, I think that he gave an overly generous rating of 7. I also noticed the ghosting problems, but I didn't mention them in my review because they are nowhere near as bad as the motion blur and lag problems. For $3,000, neither of us should have experienced any problems whatsoever.
