"Don't trust Sony; BAD PANELS"

Cons: We bought our KDL46V41OO in June 2008; by Sept. 2009, it needs a panel! 3 months out of warranty, and Sony offers 3 replacement sets, calling it a discount, but no more than sale price from Costco. POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS! Cluster of bad panels!
Summary: Bottom-line is that Sony will not admit to a cluster of poorly-constructed panels. Until Sony is willing to fix the problem, they are unreliable. Perhaps the layoffs and resignation of CEO this year has caused this?
Sony's "international customer relations" are cold to customer's complaints and unwilling to help!
Buyer beware, Stay away!

I am having the same problem i tried getting a new tv replacement but they just trying to change the panel. and i tried to get extended warranty but just told me oh sorry that sony cant reach your expectation.. for overly priced sony brand this is unacceptable whats more unacceptable is they think they can just turn a deaf ear to customer and belittle you like your complaint doesnt matter.. we need to get together and send them a message...
