Pros: Above average picture and excellent features

Cons: Glossy screen and a bit expensive.

Summary: I still own SXRD60 which I think is a great TV. I was looking for another one for my living room and I was following Samsung and Panasonic plasma/led. I went to local store and sales rep showed me this one. I was looking for 120hz for under $2000 and this one was for $2500. As soon as I saw it I fell in love with it. I compared it with Samsung 8000 series and it looked slightly better in whites but little bit down in blacks. The thing I liked about it is it has all the bells and whistles of $5500 TV Sony/Samsung used to make.

The glossy glare was still bothering for couple of days. I took an aggressive step and brought Samsung 8000 home to compare which is 400$ expensive than this. Seriously I compared them side by side for one day and I found the picture quality is ditto and Sony has better features and look. I had very good experience deal with Sony customer service in the past which was another reason I went with Sony. I returned Samsung and still loving Sony. I know 3d TV is coming and I can't see myself watching TV wearing glasses and I have big family to buy those many glasses. For 3d TV, we are still going to compare the picture quality and other features. So I found this TV close to my requirements and I am going to keep it and its LED to help me save some energy.

    Good Job Sony.
