Pros: Great picture quality and sound. Styling is sharp with a low profile frame.
Cons: After two year the picture developed vertical lines on the screen when I turned the set on and after taking it in to a service technician the only thing Sony could do was to offer me to purchase another TV for $900.00. So I basically rented this set for $
Summary: If you buy this TV, get the extended Warranty!

Pros: Nice picture when it was working
Cons: Only had this TV for 10 months. Then a horizontal line showed up on the screen and shadows appeared. The TV was unwatchable due to the center of the screen going dark and colors bleeding across the screen along with ghost images.
Summary: Don't buy it!!

Cons: YOU'LL END UP WITH A BROKEN TV A YEAR OR 2 LATER.
Summary: WORST TV EVER!! DO NOT BUY!! 3 years ago we purchased this tv and about a week after the 1 year warranty ran out it got a line on the left side of the screen which progressively got worse. I called Sony and they ended up sending me a replacement. (I paid for shipping) Now barely 2 years later the replacement tv is broken!! Different problem, a few days ago it had weird lines come up and made a strange sound and then yesterday (as I sat down to watch a Christmas movie with my kids) the screen turned black in some places and there are tracers following any movment. Sony just offered me a refurbished one at the tune of $680.00 since I'm out of warranty. I WOULD BE CRAZY TO SPEND ANY MORE OF MY HARD EARNED $ ON ANOTHER CRAPPY TV FROM SONY!! So I'm now out a $2000 tv at the holidays :( and am thoroughly disappointed in Sony!

Pros: BIG NAME WITH THE WORST QAULITY
Cons: Within 2 years, the LCD Panel got damaged. Can not view clear picture. If u want to buy SONY, buy Extended warranty before u make any purchase. I paid some premium to buy sony TV as I had confidence in SONY products but now no more

Pros: Looks good
Cons: TV developed lines, then colour everywhere, shadowing, picture became unwatchable. Didn't get extended warrenty, as we paid $2,900, expect more than 2 months out of it for what we paid. SONY should do a mandatory 3 year warrenty, as they just do not last.
Summary: This company should have a 3 Year Warrenty, not an extended one for extra cost...so many people have had the same problem with these sets...WHY WERE THEY NOT RECALLED???? SHAME on you SONY...SHAME!
