Pros picture picture picture. Also the operating system is understandable by mere humans unlike most TV manufacturers. Speakers are decent enough to not force you to run out and buy some home theater system immediately
Cons I wish it had more HDMI ports
Summary I don't understand what all the fuss is about 240Hz, who cares? Are you buying Hz or are you buying a TV. Do you expect Sony to sell the cheapest TV? Are you upset that Sony charges a marketing premium? Don't listen to the hype, or the anti-hype. Go to the store and compare the picture on the Sony with the other brands, if you think it is better and worth it buy it. If it isn't don't. It really is that simple

Pros Comparing with XBR8, this TV is better in almost every aspect
the rest is perfect
Summary Comparing with XBR8, this TV is better in almost every aspect especially scenes where movement is involved. Colors are natural and comparing with XBR6 is a step up. Comparing to XBR8, it looks similar where there is little motion on the screen, but when there is a lot of motion, XBR7 is the king.
Pros Good quality for blu-ray movies, PS3 games and HDTV viewing.
Cons As with all other HDTV's the standard viewing is OK. Complicated menu, way too much information in all menus
Summary Good product at the lower price of $3,499
Pros There has to be a first company to break into this technology. Don't be spoiled to expect perfection the first time out. Give them credit for at least trying what may be the wave ofthe future.
Cons Appears to be unreliable technology.
"pure hype!!!"on by Zagatos
Pros should be a great lcd minus the hype of 240hz
Cons sony needs to learn how to be honest
Summary 120hz are not perfected yet and sony is moving to 240hz ...Iam pretty sure if the 52xbr7 would have had 120hz instead of 200hz it would have been the same lcd. But since sony loves to make money this new 240hz is the new hype for sony, hopefully consumers are not goin to fall for this and pay the crazy price for this lcd
