Pros Very vivid and sharp picture..colors look really good..monolithic design is a very good look especially when mounted on the wall, wifi built in is great, saves you from buying a wifi dongle..full of widgets and apps.
Cons 3D is not built in to the tv,but not a big issue being that i dont watch much in 3D... Speakers arent that great as compared to my LG but thats what theres home theaters for i guess.
Summary Tv is remarkable...i had the chance to see it before it hit stores at a convention for retail stores so it really caught my eye before i knew what model it was, its 240hz dynamic LED..picture is sharp and vivid no motion blur at all, blu rays look awesome as well as any HD Channels...monolithic design is a clean modern look...built in wifi is awesome so need for a sony dongle....full of apps and widgets such as twitter, facebook, netflix and pandora...everything right on your screen, i have demoed the 3D at work, and its one of the best with awesome depth and the ability of upconversion soo you can watch what you want in 3D not just 3D blu rays like with LG and Panasonic...the Nx810 is definetly great and outbeats my 50pk750...Had To buy it and at the price i got it for @ $1600 with a $1200 rebate from sony after a sony class and test completion who would pass it up...good tv go take a look for yourself at a local store
Pros I purchased this TV for $1800 a day before Thanks Giving and let me tell you this is the best value considering the size you can get for a 3D TV. The picture quality is pretty good with almost no motion blur to speak. 3D ability is better than Samsu
Cons The black level performance is not even close to my Samsung 3D 46 inch C8000 TV. The motion is not as good as well, looks abit choppy when compared side by side. Other than comparing this TV to Samsung top tier TVs this is the 2nd best looking TV.
Summary If you can get this TV for under $2000 I would go with the Sony over the Samsung, but if you have money to burn than for sure go with the Samsung you will get a better 2D picture quality but slight worst 3D performance.
Pros Its elegant. The image is quite good, what do you expect from an LED. The configuration is fairly standard.
Cons As you've probably read some reviews, the stand is fragile. I recommend a wall bracket or stand that the TV can be installed, especially if you have young. The sound is not very good. This is my first LED television so that it can be the way in which ever
Summary Recommend to a friend? Not unless the price was good and had a surround sound system ... With my work I see a lot of LED televisions in the homes of clients, up to now, if you're going to spend money on an LED TV, go to Samsung or LG. Its a nice TV, but if I go for a replacement, I would go with another.
Pros Styling is great, picture is top-notch. 3D pictur eis clear as well. I see some image doubling, but I have issues with seeing motion-blur on all tv's of this type. I don't see it nearly as much on this model, however.
Cons I don't like Sony's menu system and widget interface, but that's more a personal thing.
Summary If you can afford it, get it! If you can get it as a dirt-cheap replacement for an older Sony product like I did, it's a no-brainer!
Pros Great Styling, options with built in wifi, 3D depending on movie really is good, Pic quality is very good
Cons sound sucks directly from TV, reflections in bright room, access to video controld could be better, quality drops on on sharp angles
Summary I am very happy bought this TV as the styling rocks and over all pic quality is very good. There is a bit a clouding but the dynamic LED system plus tweaking the TV gets rid of most of it. The motion flow is very good on this TV as are the black levels. You need a surround sound system as the built in sound is lousy but why would you use the TV speakers anyways. Also when you need to adjust from your video settings from custom, vivid and standars you have to go into the menus to do uit. They should have a button to directly toggle beteen these settings. Over all I am happy but now I am looking at that new XBR HX929 TV which looks awesome!
