"Sony 32L5000 remote broke in 6 months!"0.5 starson by tampareviewer
Pros: Pretty and lightweight
Cons: Shoddy workmanship; useless warranty; didn't get what I thought I paid for. Screen display fuzzy, too. New remote is $70!
Summary: Customers that buy Sony over all the other TVs out there do so because we think we're getting quality for the premium that we're paying. That is not true with Sony. Seems they don't value their reputation, which once lost will never mean anything again. Buy the cheapest TV out there and when it breaks, you won't feel cheated. After seeing my posting, Sony Support called and offered to replace the remote. They didn't have to, but it was the right thing to do. I thank them for that.
