Pros Picture clarty is good. Apps quality is good
Cons Poor customer support and unreliable product. TV went blank within two months of purchase. Called Sony and the earliest the sevice technician can come is only after 1 week. Will never buy Sony TV again. We always had Samsung TVs and they worked without
Pros has good picture as long as you stay directly in front of it
Cons uneven edge light, light bleeds through on dark screen very bad, must stay directly in front of it very slow menu screen
Summary i received this tv from sony because my last sony sxrd tv was a piece of junk so they sent me this piece of junk. dont buy this tv if you dont want to be disappointed. as i said the picture is very good from straight on but not so much from the side at all. the edge lit led lights bleed through very bad a is very distracting.go with another brand not this one
Pros Picture quality, sharp and bright.
Cons None so far, after 1 year of ownership.
Summary We bought this for out Master Bedroom. The picture quality is great. Sound, is acceptable if using the built in speakers. We replaced all of our old tube based TV's with LCD's during the past Holiday season. Mainly this was knowing that I was going to be installing hardwood floors and I didn't want to be struggling with moving 300+ lb. TV's when I had the opportunity of having better TV's that were 1/3 the weight. Goodwill was glad to see our old TV's. Several of the TV's we bought are Vizio's one that is LCD and another that is LCD/LED. Mainly we bought the 37" Vizios because during the past holiday season Target had great deals on them. But the Sony blows the Vizio's away.
Pros Great picture, with easy set up. Reasonably priced for the quality. Nice remote control.
Cons Side angles get a bit of white out depending on where you're viewing from.
Summary I bought this tv to replace the dump of a Samsung LCD I had. I did a lot of research on different brands of lCD LED tv's and the different models. I pegged a Sony that seemed like a sure bet, but it was a little steep price wise. The best buy associate showed me this one and i was blown away by the crisp picture and happily purchased it. Have had it for 4-5 months now and haven't had one problem or annoyance with it. Great TV especially since its dropped below 1000 dollars now.

Pros Great picture. Sony's "Bravia Sync" makes it convenient to hookup everything and use a single remote. In my case the Sony Blu-Ray and Sony sound bar.
Cons When viewing from the side/off angle, the color fades. But from where we have it positioned, it isn't a big problem. The TV's speakers aren't an issue since we use a sound bar.
Summary (Purchased in Jan. 2011)
Bought at Best buy for $999.99. I initially wanted to the Samsung UN46C6500($1599.99). At the store the Samsung TV looked so much better than the Sony. The clerk let me fudge with the setting via remote and I tried to get it as close as possible to the Samsung. But the Samsung still looked better, even Samsung's 120htz motion flow looked better.
But I was also looking for convenience and savings... More bang for my buck. Since I was going to get a sound bar regardless of TV, through my long and laborious research, I came to the decision of all Sony products(TV, Blu-Ray, and Sound bar). With Sony's "Bravia Sync" it is convenient to hookup everything and use a single remote.
I don't use the TV's internet options since the Blu-Ray is wireless. Once the TV was is home and making some setting adjustments to my liking I am very happy with it.
As of now I only have digital cable connected to the TV using component hook-up. And since The TV accepts 480 signal the picture looks really good, not high-def quality , but better than the Toshiba Picture tube it replaced.
Another reason I went with this particular model was that it would just fit in my entertainment console.
Extremely happy when viewing movies through my Blu-ray player.
Also Happy that with my cable remote I can control the cable box, Tv and sound bar volume.
