"Better than the review states"
Pros: Great color adjustments.Easy to use menus.Great darkroom picture.Fast motion movies perfect.
Cons: Stand too tall.Cumbersome remote.Who uses a tuner anymore?
Summary: I've had this tv for 3 weeks now and it still amazes me.The blacks are great and i've noticed no backlighting problems as is common with some lcds. The Samsung 550 in my bedroom does not display the color warmth that this tv does.It took a good half hour to set the picture settings the way I wanted them but it was time well spent.
The menus made it easy to get where I needed to go and adjustments were friendly.
I did not like the auto setup that immediately comes on when I first powered up the set.I don't use the tv tuner and it was somewhat cumbersome to end it and get to input settings and the visuals.I set my picture using Eragon on the BR player and haven't had to change a thing yet.Great tv that I would recomend to any experienced viewer.

Thanks for your review. To answer your question, though, there are a number of people who still use the tuner. (I assume you mean to receive broadcasts over the air using an antenna.) In fact, one of the features of this TV that interests me is called TV Guide On Screen, which provides program listings for folks using antennas - for free! Anyway, that's my $0.02. Thanks.

Is there any chance that I could get your picture set up? thanks in advance.
