"I give it 5 star for improvement from the past"
Pros: Sony is a good LCD brand. It good contrast to display decent dark scenes, great for movie and computer hook-up. I recommend you to check out http://www.squidoo.com/best-hdtv for information on what is the best and cheapest HDTV to get 2009.
Cons: Samsung are still slightly better in terms of performance.
Summary: I recommend Samsung because it got higher overall CNET rating in the LCD.
