Pros Outstanding picture. Deep blacks. Absoulute pleasure to watch action scenes and live sporting events with none of that blurring like other TV's. The apps such as Netflix and Twitter are easy to access and nagivate.

Cons Price is high. Sound is horrible. Needs to be connected to a home theater system to truly appreciate the TV.
No 3-D glasses with purchase. Why can't include a pair of glasses with the purchase. They charge enough for the TV.

Weak sound though.

Love the picture IN picture & picture AND picture features. However, you can't utilize either feature with 2 HDMI inputs.
One can be HDMI & one must be another source like a component input or game.

TV has a beautiful look. All black with just a very thin line of chrome around outside edge.

Bought it directly from the Sony store nearby. Was told by the sales rep that he was giving me expedited delivery included in the price and also free installation and set up of all of my components. After 3 days of not hearing from Sony about delivery, called Sony & was told sales rep made an error. TV must be ground shipped & not eligible for expedited delivery. Would be delivered by private delivery company. Took over a week to get TV delivered.

Sony installation was good. Tech appeared on time & mounted TV & hooked up all components and gave demonstration of TV & available apps and how to make adjustments if necessary.

Really with for price Sony charges for TV that they include some glasses with purchase.

Highly recommend TV.

Summary Great TV with great 3D, the only markdown is the poor off angle viewing. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a slim TV, I have compared it to my brother-in-law's ES8000 and the PQ of the HX850 is head and shoulders above the Samsung, but the exterior design of the Samsung is definitely better and it has the gimmicky gesture controls. If the only concern is PQ then the Sony is definitely the best LCD/LED available this year.
