Great picture. No burn in risk. Good in sunlit room.
S-video jack is on the side. No front panel inputs.

My 4 kids and I have a dedicated TV for gaming. As such, the fact that this TV has no tuner is not a disadvantage and in fact is a nice advantage in that it allows one to get a great TV monitor without paying for a tuner. In addition, we live in a small town and have to subscribe to satellite TV to get decent channel selection and this requires us to use the satellite provider's tuner anyway. The TV is in a spot that gets alot of direct sunlight in the afternoons and this made playing games on our old tube TV difficult. That is not an issue here as we found the claim that LCD TVs do well in sunlight to be true. We have hooked up our PS2 and Gamecube with component video cables and our games have never looked better. We have a Wii on order and can't wait to try it out on this excellent TV. Video games burning into one's screen is an issue plasma or projection TVs have. In our house, the kids like to leave their games paused while they go to soccer practice (despite the fact one tells them over and over to turn the TV off before they leave!. However, this will be a non-issue with this TV given the LCD technology and this means I won't have to play my games with ghost images of my kids' games ruining my picture. We'll sometimes hook our camcorder up to the TV to watch home movies and front panel inputs would have been nice but given that the TV swivels on its stand and that the TV is skinny makes the absense of front inputs no big deal. One warning, if you plan to use S-video input as a regular ongoing connection to the TV, the only S-video input is on the side of the TV so there is no good way to discretely hide the cables. This is the only negative I have found but our purpose was to play games on high-def widescreen so we probably won't ever use the S-video so, for us, this is not a problem either. All-in-all, a great TV at a great price that perfectly matched what we were looking for. I would not hesitate to buy the same model again if an act of God destroyed the one we have.
