The Bottom Line	Although the compact Toshiba 40RF350U is one of the most distinctive-looking 40-inch LCD TVs available, its picture quality has some issues.	CNET did not review the Toshiba 46RF350U, but we did review a larger model in the series.	Despite inaccurate color, the Toshiba 42RV530U 42-inch LCD represents a solid value given its otherwise commendable picture quality.	The midlevel Samsung LN46A550 LCD TV strikes an excellent balance between price and performance.	Panasonic's TH-42PX80U 42-inch plasma sets the picture quality-to-value standard for entry-level plasma TVs.
