It has very deep black levels, 4 hdmi inputs, amazing quality for sd and hd. It also has ATSC and QAM tuners. Very acurrate colors, excellent price. Hidden speakers. Lateral inputs. Optical out. Excellent viewing angle. Upconverts to near HD.
Sound not as good as expected, take a litle time the tv to start, but because the energy saveing mode. Changeing channels is very slow. Not so god DNR.

In the begenning I was not thinking about getting a toshiba lcd tv, but compering prices that was the only 1080p tv arround that price. It has amazeing quality either with standar tv signals or hd. SRT function does help, but never expect it to make a dvd look like a blu-ray. It has independent video modes for each input so you dont have to change the mode every time you go from watching tv, to playing a dvd, to playing your video games, etc.
I didnt wory much about the sound quality, beacuse I just hooked up to a yamaha receiver trough the optical output.
I believe this tv has the same image quality as some of the top brands tv for the same price, and even $500 more expensive tvs than the toshiba. It has more inputs and more features also.
The computer look just amazeing. I used a dvi to hdmi converter to plug it to the tv. I got the 1080p (1920 x 1080) with an nvidia 7000 series. I dont use any more my 21" samsung lcd monitor as the main one, unless my wife want to watch the tv.
With the ATSC and QAM tunners, this tv is capable of receiving over the air digital signals and cable digital dignals.
The ambient light sensor works realy good, and you have planty of options to set the video for the best image viewing, but the default values are realy good.
I strongly recomend this tv, if you only can spend arround $1000 on a tv. Regza models from toshiba are just as good as the top lcd tv brands.
