Pros: Affordable, Nice glossy finish look, nice logo with led that can be turned off
Cons: Irregular illumination, seconds delay to see picture and channel number while changing channels, channel number is displayed a big black square that hides the picture behind it, no picture on picture feature, unpleasant navigation inside TV settings
Summary: I gave Toshiba a try and my conclusion is that they don?t come close to other products in the same category in terms of feature and quality. 7 whiter spots (uneven illumination) could be seen when screen was not displaying any content/between channel change for example and what TV does not have picture on picture feature in 2009? I also had to put the volume very high (pass the center of the volume bar) to have a acceptable sound. I returned the TV to Future Shop.

Pros: Great picture. 120 hz. The price point on the tv is perfect for what I wanted. Very good black levels easy to calibrate. I would buy another Toshiba tv again
Cons: SRT is a gimmick not all that great. I turned it off.
I wish it had a little better response time than 8ms do get some slight blurring on very fast movements.Summary: If you are an absolute videophile you will not like this tv. You pay for what you get. It is great mid level tv. A lot better picture than Vizio and other similar brands. You are not getting Sony or Samsung pictures but you are also not paying the price tag either. If you are wanting a great inexpensive tv to watch HD sports and movies this the tv for you. I love my tv and have no problems with it what so ever. I wanted a 120hz tv and not spend 1600 to 2000 and got exactly that. Check it out for yourself you won't be disappointed. If you have 4000 dollars to spend on a tv go and buy a Sony or Samsung but if you have 1200 dollars buy this tv.

Pros: Nice Picture, not spectacular but good for the price point
Cons: Now the bad. When we hooked this up, the rest of the IR devices in the room quit functioning with their remotes. Some investigation on th internet revealed that this TV spews too much IR and interferes with other IR controlled devices.
Summary: Avoid if possible, search Google for IR interference Toshiba and see what others have to say about this TV and the amount of IR it floods the room with, and if you are about to but this TV, what weird solutions might work for you. Granted this particular TV may be a lemon and not all act this way, but there are a lot of postings about this problem and some possible workarounds.
No way I would buy Toshiba again, not only for this issue but the way we were treated when we attempted to return the TV, and charged a 15% restocking fee because the "TV worked". As always your results may vary and this is only my observation. -

Cons: NOTHING!!!
Summary: this is hands down the best television I have ever purchased. the picture quality is like no other. the blacks are the best I have ever seen on an LCD. use my ps3 on it and get stuck for hours. there is no way to describe it you just need to see it....if you can find it. its a rare piece but ive shopped at video only for a while not and they always have the best stuff and prices. if your in hayward ask for zakary and he'll let you know what im talking about.

Pros: Great picture, HD really clear. Have had no trouble with the colors. My husband loves the favorites feature in choosing a channel and the half-mute feature.
Cons: My biggest complaint is that there is no clock, but that is no reflection on the tv, but rather on Toshiba.
Summary: My husband had wanted a large screen tv forever! After a recommendation from the local tv shop, we bought this tv a couple of months ago and have not been disappointed. We are now looking into buying my parents this same tv. The picture is clear. We have not had to have any calibration. The sound is great, includes muting at 1/2 sound....which is great during commercials when the sound seems to explode from the tv. You won't be disappointed.
