"Broke in under 90 days. Awful customer service from Toshiba."
Pros: Great picture quality great price

Summary: I purchased this TV at the end of July. The picture went blank on October 21st. Toshiba put me in touch with a warranty service center and they took two weeks just to pick up my tv. They diagnosed the problem as a bad display panel. Toshiba was out of parts. It would take 10-15 business days to receive (service center would not receive part until November 24th). I called Toshiba and they had no specific timelines for servicing warranty repairs. For the first four months I have owned this TV it has been being repaired for 5 weeks. I have asked Toshiba several times to replace the unit and they ahve refused at every turn. Now that I began reading reviews, I see this is a common issue (confirmed by the back order for the display panel). If they don't replace my TV this week, I plan on calling Toshiba from circuit city's television department (I bought the TV at Circuit City and their warranty is only 30 days from purchase unless you buy their extended warranty).

Yeah mine broke in 4 months and Toshiba has been NO HELP AT ALL. I'm ready to chunk this boat anchor out the window and get a Samsung.

I just filed a complaint at the Better Business Bureau. Mine was 3 months out of warranty and they wouldn't do anything!
