Cons Bad Quality
Summary The first 32" Viewsonic LCD I purchased in Dec of 2005 had a bad component input. I had to file a complaint with the BBB to get the TV replaced. The new 32" they sent me was okay for about 18 months and then a black shadow started creeping down near the middle of the screen. It is highly visible and annoying (black shadow across actors face) to try to watch. Viewsonic says it's out of warranty so I replaced it with a nice Sony 46" LCD HDTV from Costco that I love. Much deeper blacks and better picture quality. Don't expect the Viewsonic HDTV's to be usefull beyond 18 months.

Cons Popping sound in speakers, customer service nonexistent!
Summary After one day, started hearing popping sounds from the speakers. I've been trying to get ahold of ViewSonic customer service and waited over 2.5 hours on hold the first time... then got forwarded by the customer service rep to the end of the same queue when he couldn't answer my question. I'm on hold as I write this, not sure I'll get somebody before I have to hang up.
They don't respond to their online support forms or emails.
Going to attempt to just return this TV to the retailer because I don't want to have to deal with a company that behaves like this. I don't if they have nice products, they don't deserve anybody's business.
