"Nice look, but SD isn't good."
3.0 starson by porkinsnmiPros: Good array of features, great price, solid HD picture, nice dimensions.
Cons: Poor picture quality in SD.
Summary: It's a nice tv for the money, but the picture quality in standard definition is fairly lousy. This seems to be a common issue with Vizios. If all you watch is HD, don't worry. But otherwise, shop and compare.

All HDTV's display a poor picture in Standard Definition. I have not seen one HDTV that has even a somewhat good picture in SD. I feel that's just the way it is. You are purchasing a HDTV to view HD content.

Do you recommend an alternate 32 inch HD TV that has a good picture quality in SD?
